Engine 8’s own office is nestled in between a dance studio, a food truck, yoga practice and a custom bicycle shop. Making variety a daily thing in NoBo.
Today we are walking you through just a few of the must see’s in this tiny but mighty neighborhood in Bozeman.
Wild Crumb
There are few, if not a regular customer, who have not heard of this bakery’s infamous bread. Their shop front is lined with everything from cinnamon buns to baguettes. And trying to ignore their pies and macaroons provides quite the challenge. This family owned business is easily the hotspot of NoBo as even a Sunday afternoon proves them to be busy.
If you want the best pick of the bread get here before noon otherwise favorites are already sold out.
Treeline Coffee
The coffee snob in our office has dubbed this the best coffee in town. It’s not uncommon for many Engine 8 meetings to be held on Treeline’s large and spacious lawn. Nor is it uncommon for any of us to get lost in browsing their jewelry, clothes or books. Treeline Coffee is yet another Bozeman grown business with the owner starting humbly out of a garage. The now small batch coffee shop is located right next to Wild Crumb and believe ‘roasting each bean to highlight the unique flavors that make for a rich and dynamic cup of coffee.’
Mountains Walking Brewery
The new kid on the block. Bozeman’s newest brewery has already made some headlines. It’s simplistic modern design is adorned with wood tables and copper tap handles. While their selection is limited (at the time there were only 4 beers on tap) our design team was impressed. The cream ale was a table favorite, as well as their ‘Boxelder’ red ale.
Non-beer fans toasted with Dean’s Zesty kombucha also served on tap at the brewery. And everyone drooled over the menu, which is riddled with wood fire grilled items.
Other notable businesses we can’t help but brag about being neighbors with:
We felt like our NoBo tour could have gone on for weeks! Our once unknown and forgotten about neighborhood is bursting with new and upcoming businesses. And we honestly can’t wait to see who joins next.
