Red Lodge, Montana has gained a reputation as a classic mountain town over the years, with its picturesque Broadway Street acting as the doorway to Beartooth Pass and Yellowstone National Park. Recently, Red Lodge has been garnering praise for its budding local food scene and Ox Pasture has been at the forefront of this growing foodie buzz. A seasonal restaurant (open Summer and Fall) with changing concepts, Ox Pasture most recently hosted Chef Philip Guardione and his Sicilian kitchen, Piccola Cucina. Chef Philip’s specialty is authentic Sicilian food influenced by his Grandmother’s kitchen, located in the shadow of Mount Etna.

Engine 8 ventured to Red Lodge to delight in Chef Philip’s cooking and to assist with a range of marketing materials for Piccola Cucina at Ox Pasture. Simple, fresh ingredients authentically prepared were the inspiration behind our creative work. We wanted the marketing materials to act as an invitation to this vibrant Sicilian culinary experience not often found in Montana. One highlight of our partnership with Ox Pasture was designing their signature staff shirts — Mediterranean blue t-shirts with the words “Red Lodge, Ibiza, New York” on the back — all locations you can indulge in Chef Philip’s authentic Italian cuisine.
